You can either use the PVR device, which the code is 0618. Or use the SAT device, where the code is 1142. In either case you use these advanced codes(EFC) for missing functions.

When you wrote "off",if you mean the power key, yes, there isn't command mapped. Just like the tivo peanut remote, it doesn't have a power key either. But among the advanced codes in the link above you'll find an EFC for a power toggle.

If the vol doesn't work, then you haven't turned on the vol lock, check the manual.
