I am at work now and do not have the codes but will post them this afternoon.
I have my DVD connected to the TV via a componet cable. The TV lists this as "Comp3"
I have my VCR connected to the TV via an "S" cable and the TV recognizes this as "Video1"
I have my satellite connected to my TV via an "S" cable recognizied as "Video2"
My TV also has connections available for HDVMI {?} and optical as well as one more set of componet jackes. If I decide I want to watch a DVD movie, I must first be in TV mode on my remote and then change the Input from the TV {Video2} to DVD {Comp3}
I do remember that my Zenith DVD PLaayer code is 0869. I downloaded the updated code for my VCR which is 1137. The DVD and VCR are a combo BUT I use the VCR icon on the remote for it and the DVD icon for viewing DVDs. The code for my satellite receiver is the very 1st one listed for EchoStar receivers. I beleive{???} it is 3900.
Thanks for your help. The WAF is important indeed. If she has problems again today this thread may be moot as the receiver might mysteriously end up in quite a few smaller pieces, or in the front yard. :)
