Hey Mortman,

I think I just figured out your problem with the OFA remote. Me sorry, I should have looked up that model number earlier. The URC 31xxxx is not a full universal, it is "cable" remote intended to be supplied by a cable operator together with their set top box. So the channel changing keys on that unit are NOT universal -- they ALWAYS send cable box codes no matter what. Setting up the TV mode only changes what the volume and power keys send, nothing else.

In other words, the 31xxx is behaving exactly as it is meant to. The fact that you can control volume and power proves that the One-for-All code is correct and that your TV's IR receiver is good. What you need now is a retail model One-for-All that has all the key functions. Radio Shack or WalMart should have what you need, or if you want to go the most flexible route check out what Robman has to offer at www.hifi-remote.com.
