GS, if you're thinking of buying a JP1 cable, ask the seller if he includes the pins needed for the RCU810 (most of them do). Then, rather than soldering them into place, just put them in the female end of the JP1 cable and hold it in place by hand. It's not perfect but it does work.
So, did I hear that right, the RS customer support is now recommending JP1???
