The RCU 810 is JP-1 able IF you are willing to take the remote apart and solder in the 6 pin header similar to the one you can see in your 2116. There's documentation at JP-1 yahoo group about how to do it.
Doesn't the PS2 require a receiver to use a remote with it? seems I remember one of the game controllers required a receiver/remote package for it. If this is the PS2, and you do have just the receiver, Likely there is a file somewhere where someone has programmed a remote code to work ueic remotes with the receiver.
