Name a product, a "techy" one, at least, and I'll try and find a "support group" for it. It's because people enjoy these devices, want to learn ALL about them, figure out how to do things that aren't documented, etc, etc.
You can find "support groups" for TiVo DVRs, HP calculators (I'm sure), video game consoles, and so on. You must be new to this new-fangled internet not to know this, of course.
