The URC-7562 usually ships with lots of upgrades added, so I would not recommend that you do a 981 reset. The next level down reset is the 980 command, this will erase all learned signals, keymoves and macros, but it will leave the upgrades in place and it will leave the setup codes that you have programmed to the device buttons in place.
