Well, it's not executing any faster but it's also not taking three seconds.... :-) I imagine we'll get used to it nonetheless.
The 8-sec-rewind really doesn't get used that often. To be honest, it's used the most when the audio and video get out of sync and a quick backup always fixes it. The other buttons for A, B, and C are used like this:
In the DVR list, "A" shows recorded programs, "B" to show scheduled recordings, and "C" for the "Series Manager". When you stop a recording, "A" is also used to erase or confirm erasing the show, "B" is for "do not erase, save it" or something similar. Finally, I think, if you purchase a PPV, "B" is like a confirmation to "B"uy it or "C" to "C"ancel the purchase.
As you can see, the speed that those keys execute is NOT important.
The keymover idea, though nice, doesn't appear to be an option.
