My RCA RCU810 remote is wearing out ("5" key doesn't work well), so I need a new remote; also, I just got a new DVD player, the Oppo OPDV971H. I've looked through the code lists for quite a few of the OFA remotes, and I can't find codes for this DVD player; are any available? I need another 8-device (at least) remote. I've been considering the 8810 and 8910, but, since I like to key buttons by feel, I'm not sure how I'd like the "angled" placement of the Vol and Ch +/- keys; also, many of the keys, even the Transport set, have the same shape. For these reasons, I've considered the 8820 and 10820. Is the number of devices controlled the only difference between these? I also note that they don't have JP1 capability; I haven't used JP1 before (only recently became aware of it), but is it a must-have? I'm also apprehensive about their not being backlit; I have used the backlighting feature of my RCU810. Can someone please steer me in the right direction? Thanks very much.
