Rob, thanks for the link, the advanced codes do everything I need them to do except get into the level controls for LF, RF, Center, surround and subwoofer. I can now set speaker size, subwoofer on/off and speaker distance from listening position, volume, source, loudness, just to name a few. I am useing device code 013 and have found some codes just going through them one at a time.

If anyone can help with the surround channel codes I would be most appriciative. In the meantime I'll keep digging and resurch some of the stuff you have on hifi's site about finding advanced codes, I'm almost feeling brave enough to try the JP1 program. I probly will when I have grasp enough of it to feel comfortable.
