Update:
ADCOM started out as a LP cartridge company in the 70's. Later they expanded to include high-end audio components. I suspect that they ariginally were the ADC cartridge company, though their website doesn't clarify just what they were called as a cartridge company.
The GTP-500 was introduced in 1986, after apparantly renaming the company sometime earlier in the 80's. That would re-inforce the hypothesis that ADC (X=) ADCOM.
You mite ask either RSsupport or OFAsupport if they have or know the setup code (if there is one) for your GTP-500. Meanwhile I'll check the pronto files, and see if someone has learned their GTP-500 remote to a Pronto. *IF SO*, You can use JP-1 with any JP-1 Compatible remote, the software, and make an upgrade to work it.
