T should, erhaps have started a new thread called "Grundig SP70-660", but I understand tha Mr_E has experience with Grundig, so I "invaded" here.
I have a Grundig SP70-660 with a remote control that works, but only partly. The instruction book indicates that to do the operation that is required, I must use an "IR DATA-PROGRAMMERS" This is a different type of controller for which I have no knowledge. I know nothing about the codes it sends to the TV nor do I know what the responses the TV has to these codes. Also, a special code must be entered into the Menu to activate the PROGRAMER HP function. This code then activates the "IR DATA-PROGRAMMERS"
