For example I have had the problem twice with a Samsung
which is code 0812.
For setup code TV/0812 for Samsung, the code you would use is most likely is 00185
The math or reasoning as to how to fix this issue would

You would need to find the advanced codes for the function for the setup code you are using. Some of the older, but common setup codes are listed
here. Others, you will have to search through the upgrade files at JP1 remote site for matching or similar models. If you get a Pronto hex code for the function, there's usually a way to convert that to advanced code as well.
