Ok there is one thing that I forgot to mention. I do have two hard drives on this computer. When I received the computer. The 4 Gig was the master one, and the 2.3 was the slave. I was getting tired of how slow the 4 gig was a couple of weeks ago. So I swapped them around and reformatted the 2.3 with the cd that the computer came with.
Oh yeah.. Never sweep your hard drive. AAgghhh
What do you mean by "sweep"? Like as in defragmentation?
Someone told me that XP runs faster which is one of the main thoughts of me upgrading to it. But with what is going on with my system, I am more worried about how stable it is compared to mine right now.
Here's another question. If there so happened to be something wrong with one or both of my HD right now, would something tell me? Other than the scan disk that comes with win 98? Scan disk told me that there was nothing wrong with them. This is after I did a complete erase on both of them. Different times of course, and I swapped my files between each other.
