Place the CPU under your back tire and run it over... I would say yes. Definitely. Go for it.

Actually, I never had good luck with any computer that I tried to upgrade to XP.

I even tried to go from XP home to XP pro on one and it was miserable.

XP on a new computer has been a wonderful thing; nonetheless, upgrades are a great way to screw it up.
