I have asked all over the place and now I ask it here.

Is there such thing as a Remote that is capable to receive feedback from a PC?

So far all the remotes I have seen are dumb devices capable to send commands but none of them can actually receive data such as text, menu content or status information.

I want a remote that enables me to manage the media playback on my PC but the remote interface should display similar information to that found on small portable media players.

In other words I want to see the name of the MP3 track, Select it and play it without the need for a spearate TV or monitor!

The MX-500 ( [Link: remotecentral.com] ) Seems to fit the bill but like all other remotes it is stupid and has no uplink capability

Someone please see the light and build me one if none exists. PC remotes must support user interaction if they are going to be anywhere near usable.
