I once had the pleasure of telling my sister that her sauce couldn't be too hot because I like hot. The hotter the better.

Well she pureed some habanero peppers (seeds in) and poured just a couple of tablespoons over pasta.

At first I thought this is good and tasty. Then I thought wow this is hot. Then I was just being polite as I finished my dish sweating witha numb tongue then numb mouth.

I said man you guys don't even act like it's hot! I'm dying over here.

She said "Oh hell no. I didn't put that stuff on my pasta I just have some olive oil and butter on mine. You're the only one that has that!"

I spent the night on the toilet with a headache and terrible heaves. It was coming out of both ends and I thought I was going to die. It was awful. The next day the burn continued into the afternoon.

I've never had a problem with anything in a bottle since but I am VERY careful to test first before devouring large amounts.
