Tagging the child for the child's sake is a great idea. Tagging them for the parent's is not. I don't think you will find anyone that says we shouldn't do everything we can to make kids safer.
did not say anyone said the contrary. I just wanted to clear up my position where I see it more as a positive then a negative. Yes some parents will abuse the system and tell the kids to go bother someone else, then again most of those parents do that already. All I am saying is if this helps one kid, then it is worth the 100 kids that are told go bother someone else at the end of the day when I want to find you I will use the tag bracelet, and all those 100 kids come to bother me because for some reason kids tend to gravitate that way.
