I would entirely agree. A little bit more in the way of pro-active parenting would go an awful long way in stemming the tide of loutish behaviour we're presently experiencing. The trouble is of course, if they're louts to begin with they're hardly likely to be role model parents; probably more likely to give you a "good kicking" just for looking at their little "darlings" the wrong way.
