Well let's put it this way, it lasted barely 24 hours.

Did make a slight boo, boo though. Not having made one for a while I put it in a larger tin than I would normally use - so it came out a little flatter than expected. Still, not to worry. As I said to the kids, I'll just increase the mixture next time - which, of course, means this weekend.

Oh dear, what a struggle - but someone's got to do it.
