The appliances that I want to control is a Fisher Audio System, a Sharp and an RCA television. The LIRC project has files for my Sharp and RCA, but it doesn't currently work with the program which runs LIRC files.
The other program I have runs Pronto rdf files, which is why I wanted to know about getting the codes via IrDA port.
