Apart from the very first sentence, all of those points are true for the States also.

Being British is about driving in a German car
to an Irish pub for a Belgian beer, then travelling
home, grabbing an Indian curry or a Turkish kebab
on the way, to sit on Swedish furniture and watch
American shows on a Japanese TV.

Being American is about driving a Japanese car (Toyota or Honda) to a sports bar to drink Miller beer, then travelling home, grabbing a Big Mac on the way, to sit on cheap American furniture and watch American "reality TV" shows on a Japanese (Sony or Toshiba) TV.

So, as you can see, the Yanks are a bit more patriotic when it comes to beer and TV shows than the Brits! :)
