1. There was no mention of the actual age or size of the giraffe and elephant. Only an idiot would even consider a full grown of either of the above to fit into a refridgerator. I would assume they were in the fetal stage and both would fit. Or I would inquire as to whether it was one of those giant commercial refridgerators. As Ernie would say: "Need more information"!
