Mr. Griswold, while I heartily agree that a fine upstanding site such as this is being stained by such low-brow material, it is my hypothesis, that this is a very stressful traumatic period in the lives of many of us here at RC.

I believe a lot of this Tom Foolery is simply our boys decompressing after long hot days out in the field. Imagine working in 140 degree attics, covered in sweat & shards of insulation, working with impossible deadlines, wracking their brains trying to come up with the proper discrete codes, and general troubleshooting.

I believe this conduct of the stupid threads is a cyclic affair, and should soon come to a halt as soon as the temperature dissapates a bit. Then you will see the "Menza" in all of us coming out again... kind of like the ugly larvae, developing & giving way to a beautiful Monarch Butterfly.
