It drives me crazy when I see people use "Sayings" that they obviously misunderstand.
For example, saw a thread here earlier today in one of the forums that said that "it's not nice to leave your customers, in the lurge. Now... lurge is not even a word I could find, but I'm assuming he means "in the lurch".
How about giving us some of your favorite "bad sayings" and their correct versions.
Here's a good one I heard yesterday:
Bad: Five of one, half a dozen of another! Good: Six of one, half a dozen of another! Meaning: Both options are equally correct.
