I feel like a newbie digging up old threads...hee hee...
The most scaring (that's not a typo. I meant scaring, as in left a mark on me) movie I ever saw was "The Thing", (new version). Now hold on, there's a reason for it....
The first clip I ever saw of this movie was when I was roughly 9yrs old. I was in the mall with my father, who asked me to hang out by a video rental booth while he went to the washroom. (different times back then) Anyway, they had this old tv hanging on the wall that had such a green push to it that everyone on it looked like the incredible hulk. So here I am...alone...watching this horror movie, and what scene starts up..? The part where the guys head rips off of his body, when the monster is trying to escape the flame thrower. I won't get into the details but seeing that guys neck pull apart with that push to green left me so dramatized that I couldn't drink from a plastic green cup for years afterward. Nothing too this day has distrubed me that way.
The Shining was boring...
........................... rehashed just shy of 6 years later.... That's gotta be a record :)
