Chances are unbelievably huge that the gate is not opened by IR, but by RF. There might be a hex representation of an IR version of the code, but you'll need some kind of RF transmitter that EXACTLY maches the signal in the Multi-Code Remote.

Don't go to the movies two times (in my area, at least) and you will have the forty dollars.

By the way, did you notice that this forum is Intermission, for us all to screw around in? And we're so nice that you've gotten two civil responses when you didn't even TRY to use the correct forum? If you did not notice that, perhaps there are some awareness problems (such as a remote being IR or RF) that will get in the way of you making your project work.

Buy the remote.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
