As a user of the Palm 3 as a URC,and a handheld computer I found it a must to use some type of rechargable batteries.
I am using nickel metal hydrade batteries.
A set of alkaline batteries was lasting about 2 weeks.
The nimh batteries last about 1 week on a charge.
The battery life on the nimh batteries is supposed to be around 750 charges.
