Ran a search, but couldn't find anything.

I purchased OminRemote software to run on my Palm VII. Training seems to work as described in the Manual, but I am unable to get any buttons to work. I've trained the power button for my Sony RPTV, power for my RCA DTC-100 and power for my Denon AVR-5800. None seems to work. I don't think it is a range problem because I have tested the buttons anywhere from 6' to 1" away from the IR receiver on my equipment. I have run auto detect under training settings and the unit selects 39200 as the setting. Does this software work with the Palm VII?
