I'm sorry, this is a bit of a repost...

I've been trying to find out for over 2 months now whether or not the Omniremote v1.17 works w/the Palm VIIx. I know their FAQ says it works w/the Palm VII but I can't seem to get it to work with my VIIx.

My scenario is this:

I dled the trial software and installed it on my VIIx. Tried 8 different remotes, all different frequencies, followed all the tips and still a no go. I then beamed my copy of the software to a friend's Palm Vx and voila she's able to start training every single remote that I couldn't. I could understand if I had beamed it to her and she couldn't train it or I couldn't even beam, but this would lead me to believe that my IR works fine and my software is fine too!

If anyone could clarify this for me (as PacificNeotek has not replied to my emails) I'd appreciate it.
