The Pronto IR code sequence is converted to the OmniRemote format by ORDesktop when you copy and paste the code into ORDesktop. OmniRemote generally uses a "smaller" sequence of code to send the signal.

I've been very successful in copying and pasting the "discrete" Pronto codes for Pioneer CD and DVD changers -- you may want to try the discrete codes for your receiver if they are available.
