I am considering getting a Palm, and use as a universal IR remote control is the main reason. I am considering mainly:

Palm IIIxe - 8MB memory - IR port on the "top" edge
Palm m105 - 8MB memory - (where is the IR port?)
or maybe:
Palm m100 - 2MB memory

Does anyone know how the built in IR compares for these models? Which is prefered as an all round PDA - the IIIxe and m105 are very close in price so its tricky.

Anyone know of a good review/comparison web site (not run by a retailer preferably)?
