Hi guys....
Last year I purchased a PDA-ir CF unit from Laser (UK)in the hope that it worked with a HP Jornada 568. Sadly it did not. I am now considering purchasing an Axim purely for use as a remote.
Following some of the threads on here I just wanted some clarification re the use of my old PDA-ir with the Axim. My question is will it work AT ALL as it stands, boosting the IR output from the Axim, or will I have to purchase the "New" version to get any benefit at all. Would seem a shame if that is the case, though whether Laser would consider an exchange after all this time I do not know. Still beats the hell out of a Pronto Pro in terms of value though....even with the added expense of a new PDA-ir!!

Incidentally, are Laser now shipping the new version??....and are all devices now built to the new specification??
