my problem is: can i make as much buttons as i want to, or must i use the buttonmask as it is in the skin´developer kit?

what do you mean with;"..ad the buttonmask in the end"?

what do they mean with their "button color mask" and their color palette?
so you see i have no idea about it and that makes me a bit upset!

it would be great if you could tell me step by step how to do it.
