Sorry about the mail link. Trying to throw the spam bots off. You just remove the {dot} and {at} and replace with the correct single characters. ;)
Unfortunately I don't think it will work with any OS5 device. I take it you tried it? It looks like Sony have changed the IR API from the OS4 release.
I'd be interested if anyone has any more ideas or details of models they have tried. Then I can update the compatibility list.
