Yeah, I've been keeping up. I tried TR in the very early days when it was a complete no hoper. Maybe I'll give it another chance.

The long term bet seems to be NetRemote. They seem to be shaking out the last few bugs in the last release before full direct IR support. The release they have out for testing at the moment has IR output but not learning. They don't seem to be supporting any of the IR extenders yet, which is a shame.
