Love to Barend, but how to do it so it supports virtually all Pocket PCs AND not look like a hobby project? Since IrDA ports could be theoretically on any of four surfaces (sides) it makes coming up with an elegant solution damn near impossible. We experimented with a "sled" design but it needed to be affixed to the PPCs back using tape, glue, velcro, whatever, and that just massively assaults our delicate sensibilities. :)
Also, what would you want to pay for it? Adding a LiIon cell costs a ton, not just in the most expensive conventional battery technology readily available, but also in monitoring/charging circuitry (way harder than ANY other battery technology).
So, in short, it would look ugly and cost a mint. Sound good? Should I put you down for a pre-order? ;)
