I used my Ipaq 3970 for 3 months, I even had it setup with a downloadable TV guide using bluetooth RF so the guide would update automaticaly from my home PC and I could use Nevo or other software to control my devices.

End result I hated it! The range on the PPC devices is about 10 ft at best and for some equip. it only worked at about 5ft. The touch screen has no tactical feel so you must always be looking down at it, the battery life on PPC are great by PPC standards but by remote standards they Suck! PPC are not designed to be dropped at all, and using it as a remote you know you will drop it sooner or later. I recommend you get a real remote like the Harmony 659 or whatever and leave the PPC to do what PPC do best.
