Neither are possible.

Just to clarify, there is NEVER any possible way that playing Total Remote infrared command tones on your internal speaker, at ANY volume level, could ever possibly hurt your PPC. Think it about it; the audio system can (assumedly) reproduce signals at full volume up to 20KHz. There is NO kind of audio signal that could hurt your audio system. Even if you played back a 25KHz or higher signal, it simply wouldn't reproduce.

Similarly, there is no kind of signal that come out of the audio port that could possibly hurt the Total Remote transmitter module. Playing some Britney Spears while the transmitter module is plugged in could not possibly result in anything other than very VERY occasionally spitting out a split-second of IR light that could conceivably "jam" a remote control if you happend to use it at the same split-second.

Dave, quit frightening my customers! We talked about this exact topic in E-mail quite a few months ago, and you agreed with me in principle at the time. ;)
