That is because there was NO AXIM capable of using our audio transmitter until the recent release of the X50 series. It does note on our web site that the Axim X3 and X3i are limited to IrDA only, and since the X30 is pretty much the same as the X3 it would fall into the same category. Sorry for the confusion.
