Here are my impressions thus far. I think total remote 2.2.577 works the best for Dell Axim x50v out of any of the programs out there if you want to use CCF files. However, there's one major flaw and that's the directional button (D-pad) found on Pronto (CCF) devices does NOT work with this program. I emailed tech support asking if that problem will be addressed and it doesn't look like it. The current version has been around for a long time so i'm not sure if there's much support.
Many of the other programs out there TV Remote Controller and Netremote works in CCF mode (ie D-pad works) but the beaming is way too slow. So I chose the lesser of the 2 evils and currently live without the use of the D-pad (major annoyance when dealing with DVD's). These 2 programs also do NOT look like they'll be updated any time soon either.
I'm curious if anyone has compiled a list of Learning Remote programs out for PPC's, if they can run CCF files, and their shortcomings/improvements?
