I tried Griffin's Total Remote 2 on my ancient iPAQ 3900 before switching to PDAWIN.com's TV Remote Controller 5. TVRC worked better for me, but doesn't support the 3900's CIR interface. It also supports an IR range extender which I ordered and received from laser.com. Now I just need the CF expander sleeve for the iPAQ in order to use the darn thing! YMMV.
