I don't have an X5, but I sometimes have similar problems wiith my iPAQ 3900 running PDAWIN.com's TV Remote Controller 5.5. It happens quite infrequently (maybe once in two weeks of operation) and seems to occur when I try to operate buttons wthout waiting for the previous operation to finish.
