Hello,

I just purchased a Motorola HDT100 from ebay without a remote. I know that I need to get a remote in order to use it and I was planning to use my Palm with Noviiremote software.
It allows you to edit the HEX value manually, but when I use the values given in the motorola manual, it says that it's invalid.

Using RC5, the manual says the following (thanks to a previous poster for saving me typing this out :)

I've been researching for hours and I'm sorry, but I really don't understand how this works.. if somebody could point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it..
