Is it worth it?

Depends on what you want. If you want a IR only system with a touch screen the Pronto is a better price.

But if you want RF control with a touch screen the RTI T2 is very reasonable. Competitors are Niles, Crestron, Lexicon 700 RF, and AMX. They are all software configurable and have RF with IR zones.

The Niles system is RF with hard buttons and costs $1000, dealer only configuration. The Lexicon 700 RF is about the same price with touch screen only. The Crestron and AMX are touchscreens for about $2000 to $3500 depending on options and are mostly dealer only configuration, some end users can make the adjustments.

You can buy the RTI T2 for about $1000 which gives you hard buttons, a touchscreen, RF control, and current sensing.

So, if you want a touchscreen for IR only, buy the Ponto.

If you want a touchscreen with RF, buy the Lexicon.

If you want RF with hard buttons, buy the Niles.

If you want both hard buttons and touchscreen, buy the RTI T2.
