Here's another thought on programming the T2 for X10 control. Use the LCD screen only to send the "device" command (or you could use the keypad for this as well, as long as you could remember which number corresponds to which lights). Then, program the cursor keys to send the X10 control commands (e.g., up for bright, down for dim, left on, right off). So to turn on your living room lights, for example, you press the LCD button for Living Room, then hit the left arrow button for on. To dim the lights, hit the down button however many times you want to dim the lights.

This is the way I plan to program my X10 control (I have a Homevision controller that I can send IR commands to and have it then execute an X10 command). Just haven't had time to do it yet. But this system will save space on the touchscreen (so you don't need four buttons for each device) and I think makes better ergonomic use of the T2's hard buttons.
