I have a T2 on order as an upgrade from my trusty Pronto, and am trying to setup my configuration file in advance. I am currently trying to setup my IR Library. I was thinking I could copy the hex codes for all of my remote commands from ProntoEdit into T2 Designer, and largely save myself the task of learning IR commands later. I am using the F12 method of assigning hex codes, as described elsewhere on this site. This seems to work great for all of my remotes except for those based on RC-5 codes. I get the message "Unknown code type detected" when I attempt to add the hex code for an RC-5 command. Can T2 Designer recognize the hex equivalent of RC-5 codes? It would be great if a future release of T2 Designer natively supported RC-5 codes, like ProntoEdit does. Thanks for your help.
