I am currently trying to buy a T2 and think I can make use of the IRF-6 as well so to control my system from other rooms.

What I'm not sure about is how the IRF-6 transmits the IR signal to my equipment. I assume I have to buy some IR emitters and place them in front of my equipment somehow... is this correct, or do I have to stick an emitter on each equipments IR window?

Also, what Emitters should I buy? I have about 8 devices to control, so I once again assume I need to run dual emitters off each port?

Do I need to buy anything else to get my T2 to control my equipment when I'm in a different room?

And one last question.... what is this 6 zone IR routing business that is mentioned about the IRF-6? This one has me completely confused!

Sorry to ask so many "dumb" questions, but I can't try one of these things out here in Australia unless I buy it, and with the current exchange rate the T2 + IRF-6 works out to be about AU$1600 !
