The file was created by simply having the T2 learn the commands from the GI remote. I did have to go in and "tweak" a couple of commands - for example, the "go back" command didn't work exactly right the first time around.

As for on/off control, I vaguely remember someone on the Delphi 4dtv message board talking about cutting into the power LED circuit on the 4DTV to provide a reliable way for a sensor to tell if the unit was on or off. I solved the problem by just leaving mine on all the time!
