now you have me worried. I was planing to use that reciever in one other job. I've been told the Toshiba has the new chip in it and is around the same cost. Only the output on the component is 1080i only. We need a 480p or 720p. I was told the Panasonic can upscale to any format. What setting do you have yours at and are you only using the component out? I have found great price on a converter from component to RGB if you wish to covert to RGB. Please tell me what you mean by "cold". Thanks, Bill
